This course provides the students the knowledge and professional techniques of the traditional Javanese massage and the post-natal therapy. A basic study on the body anatomy, client consultation and handling, preparation of client for the Javanese massage and post-natal therapy treatment, contraindication, health and safety, post-massage activities, after-care advice and service and code of ethics will be covered. A module on the professional sequence, binding techniques will be covered in detail. This will enable the students to be competent and effective in immediate employment and assist the student in career progression.
